Everest: the collage

I chose Everest to be the topic topic of my collage. This is a story of how a blind man climbed Mt. Everest. This is a story of determination and belief in oneself, so that is pretty much the topic of my collage. The lion in particular is my favorite picture, because it pretty much sums up the point of this story. Bravery, Determination, and the will to do the impossibe was brimming out of Eric Weihenmayer's very flesh when he climbed Everest, and many other mountains besides.

Digger wasp!

Well, I have to write a post about what animal I would rather study, a Tarantula or a Digger Wasp. In truth, I would have to say the Digger Wasp, because I've never heard of it before. From the article I had to read about it, I now know that Digger Wasps live solitary lives instead of in colony's. This, above all, surprised me, because I have never heard of a kind of wasp (or bee) that lives on its own before. The article also says that the wasps dig two foot tunnels in the ground, each about the width of a quarter. I have but one thing to say about this: I hope I never come near one of those horrid things.....

The most challenging...

I have to write a post about the most challenging thing I've ever done. That's a really good question, since I don't do a lot of challenging stuff. I would have to say that woking out for the past few months has been the most challenging thing I've ever done, because I have been pushing myself to my limit Bench Pressing....

Inspiration

One of the things that has very much influenced my choice of my future career is the television. I watch a lot of shows like Cops and World's Wildest Police Video's, and they have inspired me to become a police officer. I realize that most cops don't get to experience all the stuff they have on those shows, but it is still a very productive career. I actually went to a career expo in Green Bay today, and I got the chance to talk to a state trooper. He explained to me all the qualifications to be a police officer, like having 60 college credits (about two years,) and the training and stuff. What he had to say only increased my desire to be a policeman, so I'm really happy I got to go to that career expo!

...

Well, I have to write a post about my digital footprint. I guess that means where and what can be found about me on the web. I searched google, and the only thing I found was my profile on icanhazcheezburger, which is a pretty funny site. Most of the other stuff is confidential, like facebook and stuff. I don't use a lot of those kinds of sites, since I don't talk to a lot of people. In this case, I have a pretty positive digital footprint, besides most of my webpages looking a bit emo. I don't even know why I do that. Of all the colors of the world, I think that black describes me the least...

Country to holiday in...

Of all the countries of the world, I think I would I would enjoy taking a holiday in Italy the most.... I have always enjoyed pasta. I would have to grow a mustache, though... HA! That was pretty stereotypical, was it not?

Holiday...

I think that my favorite holiday is probably Christmas, because we get two holidays for the price of one, on account of New Year's Eve. It's always fun to stay up until midnight and yell as loud as you can...

My fantasy holiday.....

Well, I have to write a post about what my fantasy holiday. I think, if i had to choose, I would go with National Gluttony Day. On National Gluttony Day, people would be able to gorge themselves when and where they please, because all the restraunts would be free. I would Probably be at the Golden Corral all day, since it is the best restraunt I know.

Climate change...

Well... you all know what I'm talking about when I say climate change. It doesn't really affect me much, except giving my area longer, harsher winters. Our winter was 6 freaking months long last year! I guess there is not much we can do around our area to help slow global warming, besides all the "drive less" and "reduce your carbon footprint" stuff...
As part of the student blogging challenge, I wrote a post for BAD 2009 on the topic of climate change.
