Randomization...

Well, it's Wednsday and I have to write a post about anything in particular... the problem is, I don't have any one thing on my mind right now. I guess I do have one thing... I watched a box set of my new favorie anime series, Death Note. It's about a high school senior in Japan named Light Yagami. He is one of the smartest kids in the country, but he is bored with his life and disgusted with all the crime in the world. He is sitting in class one day, looking out the window, when he sees a notebook drop from the sky. He picks it up when class is over. It has the words "Death Note" printed on the front, and he is intruiged by it. He opens the notebook and finds directions for its use. 1.) Whoever's name is written in this notebook... shall die. At this point, Light laughs to himself and puts the notebook back on the ground. He goes back to get it however, and tests it a couple of times. After he finds out that the notebook DOES work, he starts writing names of criminals in an attempt to rid the world of bad actions. Basically, he's trying to make it so no one will do bad things ever again, and he plans to reign over the new realm as a god. Light is later visited by a Shimigami, A god of death. This Shimigami, named Ryuk, dropped his Death Note into the human world on purpose, because he was also bored with the realm he was residing in. This is only a description of the first episode, however. As it progresses, The story gets more twisted and sinister, as Light starts showing his true, bloodthirsty self.

Christmas vacation...

Well, I have to write a post about what I did over my Christmas vacation. This was actually a great Christmas, in fact. On Christmas Eve, I did a scripture reading during my church service. Later,we had the party at my Aunt Joann's house. Imagine this: 20 adults and 20 little kids packed into a house with maybe 200 sq. feet of available space, and you have our annual Christmas party. Christmas morning was even better. Some of the presents that I got from "Santa" were a workout bar, new clothes that fit me awesome, and a stocking full of goodies. My Aunt Joellen and Aunt Joann knew exactly what to get me. Aunt Joellen got me a box full of food, and my Aunt Joann gave me a half gallon of eggnogg, (My absolute favorite drink,) although she says she forgot to get my present and she will take me shopping in a couple weeks. I was happy with just the eggnog, though. New Years was fun, because I had a friend over to celebrate it with. The last three days were pretty uneventful...
